The Imaginative Press

The Imaginative Press is the Museum's publishing arm, producing a range of pamphlets, catalogues and leaflets, all providing more information about the Museum's collections.

The Museum publishes a wide range of pamphlets to accompany its collections and research areas. Recent titles have included Baeldan: A Lay-By and its World, The Judley Bequest, and From A to B via Wygarth: the Judley Drawer. More information on these and other forthcoming titles can be found here.

Books and catalogues

The Museum's first catalogue is Angarth or Wygarth: Myth and Reality. Published in 2014, it is 48 pages long and contains three essays. The Museum at the Back of the Wardrobe looks at the history of the Museum and the idea of imaginative knowledge. Memory and Culture takes a detailed look at some of the items in the Museum, as well as the towns of Angarth and Wygarth.

The Catalogue is available to purchase from the Museum giftshop.
